Appendix 2: Information on dealers and/or distributors
Dealers and/or distributors are independent businesses that sell and service Kubota and Our Brands products under licences.
While some dealers and/or distributors websites may be co-branded with the Brands, each dealer and/or distributor is an independent data controller within the meaning of the GDPR, of the Personal Data you provide directly to them (i.e., for product sales, service bookings, or local marketing). Each dealer and/or distributor provides its own data privacy notice describing how it processes your Personal Data as an independent data controller.
Where Personal Data is collected jointly (for example, for customer events or marketing campaigns), the dealers and/or distributor and Brands may act as joint controllers. Where a Dealer processes Personal Data solely on Our strict instructions and for Our purposes (for example, warranty registration), the Dealers and/or distributor acts as Our data processor.
For questions about how your local dealer and/or distributor processes your Personal Data, please refer directly to that dealer’s and/or distributor’s data privacy notice, which should be available on their website or you can enquire directly with them to provide you with such information at your request.
